BOB
Meet Bob, a handsome 2-3-year-old tomcat.
He was very timid and frightened when he first came into care, but has settled down now and needs a home to call his own. He’s quite affectionate in his own way and likes to nudge and head-rub, especially at food time!
He will probably return to being shy and nervous in a new environment, but with time and patience, he will continue to flourish. He’ll need experienced cat-people who understand and accept him for who he is now and see his potential.
He has previously lived with another cat, but dogs could be a step too far for him. He’s also had access to the outdoors before, but being indoors for a while will help him adjust and keep him calm until he’s happy with his new situation. Taking all things into consideration, Bob is a bit of a ‘Gentle Giant’, in reality. If you feel you could offer him a suitable permanent home, please get in touch with RAW.
DAISY
Daisy is a tabby and white little lady of 5 years old. She is affectionate, sociable and confident. Daisy has lived with other cats and cat friendly dog, whom she mainly used to ignore !. She has also lived with children, so wouldn't find them an issue should she find herself in a family home. Daisy would like access to the outside once she's suitably settled, but isn't a wanderer and likes her home comfort. Could you make her dreams come true this springtime?
TIMMY
Say ‘hello’ to Timmy, an 8-year-old tomcat.
He may be considered to be a ‘senior’ cat in years, but now way is he ‘over the hill’ in character and personality!
He is very friendly and sociable, loves head-butting and is generally bursting with energy. He loves interacting and being with people and seeks out your full attention whenever he’s in your vicinity. He will definitely need access to the great outdoors after settling in, so he can have a good run around.
He has lived with cats, so he should be fine with another feline after being introduced carefully. We’re not sure about dogs, but considering his temperament, he would probably take it all in his stride. Older children will be more suited to his bouncy nature.
If there is a boisterous, loving family out there, this boisterous, loving Timmy may be just a match.
BELLA
RESERVED
Bella is a gorgeous tabby and white lady of 3 yrs old. She takes her time to get to know you, but when she's settled, feels comfortable and safe, she's affectionate. She will come to you for a fuss and stroke, and loves to play, especially with her laser toy. Bella is an INDOOR cat who needs a new owner with experience and patience. She can be a little unpredictable at first till she feels secure in her new environment. She's not used to living with other pets or children and would prefer a quiet home where she can chill out. Bella deserves a chance like any other cat who's found themselves in the situation where she needs a new home. Your time and patience will be rewarded 10 fold once she's settled in.
FRANK
This handsome chap is Frank, who is about 5 years old.
He was rescued from a very unsafe environment in December and has been growing in confidence little by little since then.
He still can be a little shy with new sounds and voices, but has the potential to be an outgoing, friendly and affectionate cat. He's definitely not as grumpy as he looks in the photos; he's a big softie once he gets to know you!
He needs an indoor home where he can be the only cat due to him being FIV positive. This will suit him ‘down to the ground’ when he’s able to have all the love and cuddles to himself (not to mention all the food!) and the warmest snoozing spot in the house.
Frank has been through a tough time in his 5 years and deserves to have a permanent loving home to call his own from now on. Can yours be the one he’s been dreaming of?
Due to Frank's FIV status, RAW will fund any future FIV-related medical costs, so ideally, he will need to come back to our vets in Barnsley for this.
